The Super Lawyers selection process selects attorneys on an annual, state-by-state basis using peer nominations and evaluations combined with independent research. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement.
Super Lawyers magazine features the list and profiles of selected attorneys and is distributed to attorneys in the state or region. Super Lawyers is also published as a special section in leading city and regional magazines across the country. The attorneys selected to Rising Stars are limited to 2.5% of the outstanding emerging lawyers in Northern California who are age 40 and under, or have been practicing 10 years or less.
